Spindle Fitter

Job Role: Spindle Fitter\n\nLocation: Coventry\n\nSalary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum\n\nMetalis are working exclusively with a precision engineering company in Coventry (CV6), who are looking for a Spindle Fitter to join their team.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nAssemble precision spindles to high standards\nRead and interpret engineering drawings\nTear down precision spindles for reconditioning\nCompile inspection reports and test run precision spindles\nCleaning and preparation of parts for build\nInspection of components prior to build\nSetting up test rigs, monitoring of spindles on run test and taking of vibration analysis tests\nUse of machine tools for the adjustment of components including surface grinding, ring grinding, turning, drilling, milling etc.\nService work at customers site as required (the majority of this is in the UK, however, please ensure that you have a valid passport in case of any overseas work) \n\nJob Requirements:\n\nEngineering apprenticeship/Time Served is required\nEngineering qualification of ONC/HNC or equivalent is preferred\nExperience with precision machine tool fitting is required\nFamiliarity with precision bearings is required\nValid Passport (incase of overseas travel) \n\nSalary & Shift:\n\n£30,000 - £40,000 per annum\nMonday to Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm & Friday, 7:30am - 12:30pm \n\nIf this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
