Project Accountant

You will work closely with finance and project teams to support data accuracy, system improvements, and robust financial control.\n\nMain Duties:\n\n * Support financial transformation activity across systems and processes\n\n * Carry out detailed reconciliations across financial data sets and records\n\n * Use SAP HANA to extract, analyse, and validate financial information\n\n * Maintain and improve data quality and records integrity within finance systems\n\n * Support month end and year end processes where required\n\n * Identify and resolve discrepancies within financial reporting data\n\n * Work closely with stakeholders across finance and project teams\n\n * Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and processes\n\nEssential Criteria:\n\n * Relevant Accounting qualification (ACCA, AAT)\n\n * Strong experience working with SAP HANA\n\n * Proven background in project accounting or finance transformation environments\n\n * Strong reconciliation and financial analysis skills\n\n * High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity\n\n * Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge\n\n * Experience within Local Authority or public sector finance is desirable\n\nIf your skills match the above criteria, please apply with your up-to-date CV
