Multi-Trade Operative \n\nLocation: Preston, Lancashire\n Rate: £25 - 30 Per Hour\n Working Pattern: On Site - Full time\n\nSpencer Clarke Group are recruiting for a Multi-Trade Operative to support a busy public sector estate. This is a hands-on role covering both planned and reactive maintenance, with a focus on safe working, quality repairs, and minimising disruption to building users.\n\nYou will be carrying out a range of building maintenance tasks across multiple trades and supporting the wider maintenance team to keep facilities safe, compliant and operational.\n\nResponsibilities include\n\nReactive and planned maintenance across carpentry, basic plumbing, patch plastering, painting and decorating, roofing repairs (felt, tile, slate) and floor laying\nLock repairs and general building fabric repairs\nSetting up and clearing venues for planned events\nKeeping work areas safe, tidy, and clear, and reporting hazards promptly \n\nAbout you\n\nProven experience completing building trade tasks to a high standard\nStrong health and safety awareness and a practical, can-do approach\nPhysically able to complete manual tasks including working at height and in confined spaces\nFull UK driving licence\nQualifications such as NVQ Level 3+ in a relevant trade, IPAF/MEWP, working at height, manual handling, PASMA/tower scaffold, hot works \n\nHow to Apply\n Send your CV or get in touch with Joe O'Halloran at Spencer Clarke Group on (phone number removed) or
