Job Title: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer\nLocation: Bedfordshire & Surrounding Areas\nSalary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)\nBenefits: Door-to-door travel pay, company vehicle (with personal use), £150 callout standby, overtime, pension, training & development opportunities\nThe Role:\nWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our expanding team. Based in Bedfordshire and covering surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of a range of commercial gas systems across multiple sites.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a professional engineer who wants to work for a forward-thinking company offering long-term career growth, a strong salary, and a comprehensive benefits package.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * \n Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances and systems\n * \n Fault-finding, diagnostics, and effective repair of commercial gas plant\n * \n Installation and commissioning of commercial gas boilers and associated equipment\n * \n Complete accurate job reports via a digital system\n * \n Ensure all work complies with current legislation and safety standards\n * \n Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships\n * \n Participate in a 1-in-6 call-out rota, with £150 standby pay\nRequirements:\n * \n Valid commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A) – Essential\n * \n Proven experience in the commercial gas industry (maintenance, servicing & breakdowns)\n * \n Strong technical and fault-finding skills\n * \n Full UK driving licence\n * \n Good understanding of relevant health & safety regulations\n * \n Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload\n * \n Willingness to participate in call-out rota (1 in 6 weeks)\nPackage & Benefits:\n * \n Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience and certifications\n * \n 1-in-6 call-out rota with £150 standby payment\n * \n Door-to-door travel pay\n * \n Company vehicle with personal use\n * \n Fuel card, tools, uniform, and PPE provided\n * \n Overtime and additional earning potential\n * \n Company pension scheme\n * \n Ongoing training and professional development
