Construction Partner (solicitor)

Job Description

We are working with a top-tier UK law firm based in Belfast for a Partner to join their Construction team.


The Role:

The successful candidate will join a growing Construction team in Belfast, working on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and real estate development.


They will advise and lead on development and transactional projects, support dispute resolution through adjudication and court proceedings, and work with standard industry contracts including NEC, FIDIC, and JCT. As a partner you will be instrumental in business development in addition to being a mentor to junior members of the team.


Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive construction law experience;
  • Business development experience desirable;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Supervisory experience;
  • Ability to build upon existing and new client relationships;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Team player;
  • Technically excellent.
